Moving from being stiff to agile!

When Surbhi agreed to take me on as a student, she did not know that she was

taking on someone on the wrong side of eighty and whose mobility was restricted

not only because of age but also by being put to limited use of limbs and muscles by

daily walks at moderate pace.


What Surbhi has in about six to seven weeks managed is, to loosen my stiff joints and to stop

them crackling and get my arms and legs to move to her instructions rather than go

in directions of their own free will.





I have benefited by learning and doing yoga the correct way, breathing to a rhythm, placing my feet in correct position so that my balance when I walk is improved. Stretching of various parts of the body focusing on not just sections of the body, but the whole. I feel healthier and more agile than I used

to!


Each day look forward to my daily yoga practice and more so to the weekly session

doing my stretches under Surbhi’s not only patient but watchful eyes.
